I currently backup LBP to my desktop then copy and paste to a flash drive at least once a week. I always keep at least the last two updates stored in both locations. Is there a way to "test" the backups? I am a little nervous about losing the data and having to re-enter all the data.

The only way to test them is to actually restore the data.
